Welcome!

We are so glad you've found us!  We are Connecting Dots 4 Kids, a boutique Occupational Therapy business specialising in the development and functioning of neurodiverse children.  Our passion is seeing children thrive by helping them to regulate, relate and function in their everyday environments.   We are a child and family-centred service using neuroscience and a trauma-informed lens to help children play, learn, love and connect.  At Connecting Dots 4 Kids we work collaboratively with those involved in a child's life, from parents and siblings to daycare workers, teachers and OSCH staff in children's natural environments which means we provide a mobile face-to-face service as well as telehealth services when required.  We are small enough to offer a truly individualized and unique OT experience tailor-made for your little person.  We also have the experience, knowledge and know-how to meet children and families where they are at on their journey and to help them create an environment and skills profile to see children thrive.   

Play Skills

Play is so much more than something children do to pass the time.  They develop social, cognitive, emotional regulation, communication and motor skills when they engage in meaningful play.  Talk with our Occupational Therapist about how your child is playing now and how we can encourage their development thru play.

Feeding

Feeding is one of the most complex skills a child needs to master.  Learning to eat requires the coordination of multiple skills in the moment.  For some children, fussy eating is a phase, but for others, without intervention, can lead to all sorts of social, emotional, physical and even medical challenges.  We love helping children develop a healthy relationship with food and have a particular interest in children with sensory-based feeding issues.
